Rehearsal Studio
What is Rehearsal Studio?
Rehearsal Studio helps you practice and prepare scripted talks. Paste a script, then use The Ear (hear it read aloud), The Memorizer (vanishing text to practice recall), and The Teleprompter (paced scroll at your target WPM). It's for high school students memorizing pieces and for young adults and professionals rehearsing important talks like All Hands or board updates.
Who is Rehearsal Studio for?
High school students memorizing declamation or scripted pieces; young adults and professionals rehearsing talks, All Hands, board updates, or any scripted presentation. ThePodio is for students, young adults, and professionals to practice and prepare.
How do I paste a script?
From Home, tap Rehearsal Studio, then paste or type your script in the text area. Add an optional title (e.g. "Q3 All Hands") and tap Start Rehearsing. You can also open a recent script from the list.
What are The Ear, Memorizer, and Teleprompter?
The Ear plays your script aloud so you can hear rhythm and clarity. The Memorizer shows full text, "Swiss Cheese" (some words hidden), or "Heads Up" (first letter of each word) to practice recall. The Teleprompter scrolls your script at a fixed speed (e.g. 140 WPM) so you can practice pacing.

AI Feedback & Analysis
How does the AI feedback work?
Our AI analyzes your speech recording using both video and audio analysis. It evaluates your delivery, content, structure, body language, gestures, and overall performance. The analysis provides detailed feedback on areas like pacing, clarity, argumentation, presentation style, eye contact, and use of gestures. The analysis is generated using advanced speech recognition, computer vision, and natural language processing.
Does the AI analyze video or just audio?
The AI analyzes both video and audio! Video analysis evaluates your body language, gestures, eye contact, and presentation style, while audio analysis focuses on your speech content, pacing, clarity, and delivery. This comprehensive analysis gives you feedback similar to what a judge would provide in a competition.
How long does it take to get feedback?
AI feedback is typically generated within 1-2 minutes after you submit your recording. The analysis includes both transcript analysis and video analysis. You will receive a notification when your ballot is ready. You can also check the History tab to see all your past ballots and feedback.
Is the feedback accurate?
Our AI is trained on thousands of forensics speeches and competition ballots. While it provides valuable insights, it should be used as a supplement to, not a replacement for, feedback from coaches and judges. The AI focuses on objective metrics like pacing, clarity, structure, body language, and presentation style.
Can I view past feedback?
Yes! All your practice ballots and feedback are saved in the History tab (The Record). You can view detailed analysis, scores, and improvement suggestions for any past practice session.
